FIELD: aviation, applicable for high-accurate target indication of objects by means of a helmet system. SUBSTANCE: at an object search turning of several cameras of upward and downward vision is controlled by turning of the helmet, at the same time the linkage ratio from the angles of turn of the helmet to the angles of turn of the cameras and the image scale are varied. For preliminary target indication the object is followed by eyes in the whole field of image, the position of the reticule on the object is monitored, and the button for automatic target tracking is pushed. For the final target indication the selected point on the object magnified in the respective port is followed by eyes, the position of reticule on the object is monitored, and the button for transmission of target indication data to the on-board computer is pushed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy, speed of response and reliability of target indication.
