FIELD: optical instrumentation, contactless inertia-free measurement of small linear and angular displacements. SUBSTANCE: proposed optical device has source of coherent light, mirror system and recording unit. Mirror system forms dihedral angle less than 180 deg and is so placed that rib of dihedral angle passes through optical axis of device. It is made fast to object to move together with the latter. Source of coherent light is mounted for change of inclination angle within limits of angle vertical for dihedral angle of mirror system. Invention makes it feasible to measure flat displacements and displacements of complex type having flat and rotary components at same time. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and expanded functional capabilities of optical device. 2 dwg
