SUBSTANCE: method includes detection of components of waves along two, as minimum, orthogonal directions with the aid of at least one detector R composed of several direction transmitters, such as geophones or accelerometers coupled to geological formation. Processing unit determines functions of transformation of signals formed by detector R in response to detected waves to weak waves. Amplitude selection of signals obtained as result of this transformation to weak waves in accordance with criterion based on relation of their mutual amplitudes is conducted.
