FIELD: electrical engineering; pulse-width modulated transistor inverters. SUBSTANCE: inverter uses inverting diode bridge circuit incorporating series capacitor in load circuit and is connected to DC voltage source. Control system has self-excited oscillator, main and auxiliary transformers, pulse-width modulator synchronized with self-excited oscillator, automatic controller using standard closed-circuit automatic- control system depending for its operation on negative feedback. Main transformer is connected to self-excited oscillator output and its secondary windings are cumulatively interconnected in series with respective secondary windings of auxiliary transformer and connected to bases of inverter transistor. One primary winding of auxiliary transformer is connected through unipolar switch in the form of diode bridge and shunt transistor to secondary winding of main transformer; second winding of auxiliary transformer is shunted in the same way by unipolar switch. Control inputs of switches are connected to pulse-width modulator output. Proposed device may be used in various circuits of pulse-width modulated inverters. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, reduced control-system loss. 4 dwg
