FIELD: electrical engineering; miscellaneous secondary power supplies.
SUBSTANCE: proposed inverter has four power transistors in power section assembled into bridge and shorted out by inverse diode bridge. Diagonally opposite pair of dc terminals of uncontrollable single-phase inverter is connected across uncontrollable power rectifier provided with regulation and control system. Diagonally opposite pair of ac terminals is connected across load. Control inputs of mentioned four power transistors are coupled with respective four outputs of inverter control system incorporating self-excited oscillator, matching transformer, control-pulse off-duty-factor shaper, and electric isolation circuits. Control-pulse off-duty-factor shaper and electrical isolation circuits are integrated in each of four identical control channels by means of four power transistors and are made in the form of circuit set up of series-connected fast-saturated reactor, current-limiting resistor, and diode connected in conductive direction to power transistor base. Emitter of mentioned transistor and lead of fast-saturated reactor are connected to one of four respective matching-transformer secondary windings. Ballast resistor is inserted between power-transistor emitter and common point of fast-response reactor and current-limiting resistor.
EFFECT: simplified design and reduced cost of inverter.
