PHARMACEUTICAL COMBINED PREPARATION FOR HORMONAL CONTRACEPTION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes hormonal components in a single package for sequential in time oral intake being each component consists of separated in space doses that can be taken separately. Each package has daily dosed units. The first hormonal component has a combination of estrogenic preparation and gestogenic preparation as hormonal active substance that is sufficient for suppression of ovulation and made as monostep or multistep variant. The second hormonal component has estrogenic preparation only as hormonal active substance being the first hormonal component has 23 or 24 and the second hormonal component has 4, 3 or 2 daily units and two or one daily units no containing active substance (placebo) or two or one day are shown with "blind" pills and the total amount of daily hormonal units is equal to the total days of menstrual cycle, but not less than 28 days. Invention provides the possibility of control of female fertility, ensures the maximally low estrogen content in any dosing unit and maximally low total content of hormones per one cycle of intake also. Invention provides also high contraceptive safety, insignificant tendency for development of follicles, fauntless control of menstrual cycle, safety prevention of intermediate bleedings and nondesirable adverse effects.
