FIELD: air-conditioning systems for pressurized compartments of spacecraft. SUBSTANCE: refrigerating-dehumidifying unit has housing with fan and heat-exchange surface which includes sections of tubes carrying the heat-transfer agent and moisture-absorbing components. Fins of tubes are made in form of semicircle. Length of fins s selected from relationship of heat conductivity and thickness of material of tubes, cross section area of fins, preset magnitudes of heat-transfer coefficient to surrounding medium, temperature differential between air temperature and cooling capacity of finned tube, thus keeping fin surface temperature below dew point at all tines and consequently ensuring proper dehumidification over entire surface of heat-conducting plate at minimum power requirements.
