FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing thermoplastic polyolefins capable to be processed. In particular, copolymer is prepared from monoolefin with only one bond suitable for Ziegler-Natta polymerization, a second monomer with at least one such bond, and a third one with at least two such bonds. Copolymer is characterized by containing at least one carbon-carbon bond per one number-average molecule, activation energy of viscous flow by at least 1 kkal/mol larger than in polymer with linear main chain prepared from the same monomers but not having at least two bonds suitable for Ziegler-Natta polymerization, degree of crystallinity 10-50%, and Mz/Mw value at least 1.7. Monomers are brought into contact with Ziegler-Natta catalyst, its derivative, or association thereof under pressure above 100 bar and temperature higher than 60 C. Invention also provides copolymer of ethylene with a polyene containing at least two bonds suitable for polymerization, which is prepared at temperature at least 120 C with transitory metal compound catalyst containing bulky auxiliary ligand.
