SUBSTANCE: catalytic composition metal oxide carrier, anion produced from Lewis acid combined with catalytically active metal compound. Metal oxide carrier has opposite anion produced from Lewis acid having no easily hydrolyzed ligands and is covalently combined with carrier surface directly through metal oxygen atom where anion is also ion-combined with catalytically active compound of transition metal. Method of polymerization includes contacting of one or several monomers with catalytic composition. Use is made of monomers capable of coordinated polymerization. Catalytic activating composition includes metal oxide carrier and at least one activating anionactive preceding material covalently combined through atom of oxygen with carrier.
