FIELD: ceramics technologies, more particularly manufacture of materials having greater hardness and higher resistances of abrasion wear. SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparation of porous carbide carcass followed by impregnation with ceramic complex oxide melt. Porous carcass is made by using bond of reactive sintered silicon nitride, ratios of components in original blend being as follows, wt.%: silicon, 20-70; high-melting nonoxide compound, 30-80. Create hardness, wear resistance and resistance to thermal shocks of the resulting material make it possible to ensure serviceability of components and units of apparatuses operating under heavy conditions such as abrasion wear, high temperatures, abrupt heat changes, and aggressive medium.
