FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of impellers of centrifugal pumps, mainly well pumps, and compressors. Proposed centrifugal pump impeller comprises driving and driven disks and wedge-like blades arranged in between. Blades have convex and concave surfaces and concave-convex peripheral surface. The latter is inclined in direction of liquid flow. Radial channels found between adjacent blades are connected with wedge-like formed by concave-convex peripheral surface of blade and outer surface of blade and outer surface of centrifugal pump impeller. Angle of tilting of blade generatrix, starting from point of conjugation of convex surfaces to periphery, is made constant, equal to angle of bending of peripheral section of driving and driven disks. At least two grooves open to periphery are made in side outer wall of driven disk. Each groove is formed by convex and concave surfaces smoothly mating beyond the limits of support bearing race. Impeller disks are installed with clearance of 0.5 - 1.0 mm relative to guide vane assemblies. EFFECT: increased efficiency and head. 4 dwg
