FIELD: data acquisition facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed technique for accumulation of knowledge in the form of target knowledge bases with pre-introduced general information and knowledge concerning safety in manufacture using available publications is based on personal computers and user's model that incorporates traditional forms of questions and messages typical of definite professional group of specialists in safety precautions. Computer functions in man-machine dialog mode using interactive patterns for specialists of particular professional group by submitting approximate situations while saving information on strategy of taking decision by particular specialist acquired during dialog in target knowledge bases. Interactive patterns are used in the course of dialog depending on step-by-step estimation of the results of comparing content of knowledge discriminated during dialog with current content of target knowledge bases ; information acquired during dialog is employed in correcting user's model.
