TREATMENT-AND-PROPHYLACTIC PREPARATION "GEKSIKON" WITH ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTISEPTIC ACTION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, pharmaceutical production. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with preparing a new medicinal agent in the form of suppository on base of bigluconate chlorhexine. The agent may have a wide application for treatment of urogenital pathology of women and prophylaxis of venereal diseases, such as syphilis, gonorrhea and trichomonosis. The new treatment-and-prophylactic preparation "Geksikon" on base of bigluconate chorhexine is made in the form of suppository and additionally contains a bade at the following ratio of components, g per one suppository: bigluconate chlorhexine, 0.014-0.018; base, the balance. As a base it contains hydrophilic one, preferably, polyethyleneoxide base. Preferably used in polyethyleneoxide base is polyethyleneoxide with maximum molecular moisture- absorbing capacity 1500 in the amount of 92-98% and polyzhethyleneoxide with maximum molecular moisture-absorbing capacity 400 in the amount of 2-8%. Hydrophilic base is used in the amount sufficient for preparation of a suppository with mass of 2.90-3.25 g. Bigluconate chlorhexine is preferably used as 20-% aqueous solution. The proposed preparation is well endured by patients, nontoxic and does not cause allergy and side effects.
