FIELD: pharmaceutical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: ointment is prepared by mixing active component with polyethylene oxide basis. The former includes dioxidine, methyluracyl, and trimecainum. The latter consists of polyethylene oxides with molecular weight 400 and 1500. Trimecainum is mixed with polyethylene oxide basis heated to temperature preferably 65-70 C. Mixture is agitated, cooled to temperature not higher than 33 C, and concentrate preliminarily prepared by mixing dioxidine and methyluracyl with polyethylene oxide (MW 400) at ratio 1:4:(2.5-3.5) is added. Ratio of trimecainum to polyethylene oxide basis ranges from 1 to 22, that of polyethylene oxide (MW 400) to polyethylene oxide (MW 1500) in that basis preferably 4:1, ratio of dioxidine, methyluracyl, and trimecainum in active component 1:4:4, and ratio of active component to polyethylene oxide basis 1:10. Ointment can be used for purulent wound treatment in the first phase of wound process. EFFECT: simplified preparation due to elimination of laborious active component grinding and sieving operations. 4 cl, 3 ex
