RESPIRATORY FILTER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for protecting individual's respiratory organs. SUBSTANCE: filter has hollow casing with at least one inlet channel and outlet channel. Casing has internal surface with shape approximating that of truncated cone and is covered with sticky substance capable of retaining dust particles and allergens contained in air inhaled by individual. Inlet openings are made in cone large end and outlet opening is made in cone small end. Axis of each channel includes tangential and axial components. Filter of such construction may be used as nose filter, it may be mounted in respirators and like devices. Filter is positioned so that it is invisible from outside. EFFECT: low aerodynamic resistance and simplified construction. 14 cl, 4 dwg
