SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protection of the human respiratory system, in particular to personal equipment with filter elements and can be used as a means of protection when in conditions of dusty, bacterial and other pollution of the ambient air. The mask includes at least one air filter configured to be installed in the mask base. The filter has a hollow body having opposite to each other and detachably connected the first and second walls in which a lot of paired holes are made. The axis of the first hole made in the first wall of the body does not coincide with the axis of the paired second hole made in the second wall of the body. Arcuate channels are formed inside the body each of which is associated with corresponding paired holes. The end walls of the arcuate channel are formed by the inner surfaces of the first and second walls of the body. At least the outer side wall of the arcuate channel is formed by an insert made of material with sorption, in particular hydrophilic properties, which is placed between the first and second walls of the body. Moreover, the aforementioned first hole made in the first wall of the body is connected to one end of the arcuate channel and the paired second hole made in the second wall of the body is connected to the other end of the arcuate channel.

EFFECT: high efficiency of air filtration, low aerodynamic resistance and essentially flat filter configuration.
