FIELD: machine tool manufacture, possibly gear shaping machine tools for making non-round gear wheels. SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes drive unit for reciprocation motion of rammer of gear shaper with drive shaft, blank unit, tuning unit, rolling around circuit, circular feed circuit, indexing and lengthwise tables. Machine tool includes hydraulic links and hydraulic step drive units in rolling around circuit and circular feed circuit. Each drive unit has hydraulic step motor kinematically joined with tool and with indexing and lengthwise tables and tuning unit in the form of hydraulic pulse generator with rotary sleeve of slide valve. Said generator provides gear ratio of respective circuits according to frequency relation of hydraulic pulses depending upon designed number of working slits of rotary sleeve; hydraulic pulse generator is joined with hydraulic motor through pipeline system. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of machine tool, simplified design of machine tool, enhanced accuracy due to reduced length of kinematic circuits in the result of omission of row of mechanical links, lowered metal consumption of machine tool. 1 dwg
