SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has piston arranged in cylinder, crankshaft whose crank is connected through main and additional connecting rods, and rocker coupled with additional connecting rod and provided with adjustable support secured on engine housing. Longitudinal axes of main and additional connecting rods, with piston in top dead center are on one line with angular break defined by travel of adjustable support at change of compression ratio and close to axial line of piston reciprocation. Point of hinge connection of main and additional connecting rods is located at distance from center of crank not exceeding diameter of crankpin of this crank.
