FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to determine distribution of pores by sizes in various capillary systems. It can be utilized in oil and gas production industry for evaluation of absolute, phase and relative permeability of rocks, residual water saturation, qualitative evaluation of factor of oil recovery, for study of structure of transition zones " water-oil ", " water-gas ", in construction industry. Device determining distribution of pores by sizes has chamber with upper lid, semipermeable membrane carrying rock specimen, manometer, graduated burette. Salient feature of invention lies in manufacture of chamber in the form of two cylindrical chambers placed concentrically and sealed one from another. Walls of internal chamber are made of elastic material confined in perforated metal shell. Semipermeable membrane serves as bottom where rock specimen is put. External chamber is fitted with lower lid and branch pipe feeding either compressed gas or fluid for reduction of rock specimen and provision for modeling of rock pressure. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of distribution of pores by sizes in capillary systems including regions with smaller radii under conditions of saturation of porous medium with various fluids and expelling reagents. 1 dwg
