FIELD: aeronautical and space engineering; filling launch vehicles launched from aircraft-booster; filling cryogenic stage with oxidizer. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes filling the launch vehicle tank with liquid oxygen at temperature corresponding to its boiling point at normal atmospheric pressure performed before launch. Subsequent thermostating of oxygen is effected at bringing the launch vehicle to altitude of air initiating boiling of oxygen due to maintaining required pressure in tank which corresponds to change in atmospheric pressure outside aircraft. Oxygen tank is replenished cryogenic reservoir carried on aircraft-booster. Such mode makes it possible to avoid ground thermostating of oxygen. EFFECT: reduced time and labor required for filling launch vehicle oxidizer tank with liquid oxygen; low cost of filling procedure. 1 dwg
