BOTTLE LABELING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: food and pharmaceutical industries; labeling of cylindrical bottles and flasks. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has drum for transferring labels to bottles, label magazine, label extractor, glue with shaft and scraper, and pressure roller. Drum for taking in and transferring the labels to bottles has movable lever-and-pluck devices whose levers are in contact with follower arranged coaxially relative to drum. Stop with pad placed in form of stop are arranged on drum generatrix in place of contact of pluck clamp with label. Pluck clamps are located opposite to cavities of glue shaft. Scraper of glue is rotary and has shaped vertical profile to make projections of profile get into shaft cavities. Pressure roller is also arranged opposite to shaft cavities. Lever-and-pluck devices are spring-loaded. Number of cavities of glue shaft is equal to number of luck clamps in vertical. EFFECT: improved reliability and quality of application of glue to labels, provision of accurate application of labels to cylindrical surface of bottles without wrinkles, and with tight fitting of paper. 3 cl, 3 dwg
