FIELD: label feeding and securing equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding tape of label material having the first and the second sides from supply reel, successive cutting tape into labels during moving thereof between drums and heated knives, while one of drum is vacuum, another drum serves as support; reading mark printed on one tape side by sensor which controls tape movement and provides accurate superposition of mark and tape part on which mark is applied with contact area between knives and support; applying adhesive on tape before contacting thereof with vacuum drum; cutting tape with adhesive layer so that label covered with adhesive is fully separated from the tape and brought into contact with container when adhesive has adhesive capability sufficient for label securing to container.
