FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes bearing corrosion-resistant steel that has components in the following ratio, wt.%: carbon, 0.85-1.05; chrome, 17.0-19.0; silicon, 0.1-1.0; manganese, 0.1-1.0; cerium, 0.005-0.1; calcium, 0.005-0.1; yttrium, 0.005-01 and iron, the balance. Proposed steel exhibits significant increase of transverse plasticity with retained high level of strength properties. Invention can be used in making bearing members working under conditions of moderately corrosion-active media. EFFECT: improved quality and properties of steel. 2 tbl, 1 ex
