FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains carbon, nickel, and at least one of elements: copper, vanadium and niobium, iron and additives at the following ratio of components, wt %: carbon ≤ 0.15, nickel 2.5÷9.0, at least one of elements: copper, vanadium, niobium in sum 0.01÷4.5, iron and additives - the rest. Composition of steel is of the following ratio: Cu+Veff+Nbeff≤2.5+0.3-Ni, where Veff=V-4.2·(C-Nb/7.8)>0 is contents of vanadium left after formation of carbides, and Nbeff=Nb-7.8·C>0 is contents of niobium left after formation of carbides.
EFFECT: raised strength at maintaining satisfactory plasticity and impact viscosity with simultaneous raised stability of mechanical properties during operation.
