TOOL TO REMOVE PACKER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: tool to remove packer is made of branch pipe, fingered bushing and unfixing unit. Tool is fitted with bushing mounted for movement relative to branch pipe and made fast to fingered bushing. Adjustment ring with rows of radial holes is put on to outer surface of bushing. Distance between lower face of adjustment ring and upper faces of circular bosses of fingered bushing is equal to length of sleeve of removed packer. Branch pipe is provided with thrust collar and recess located between thrust collar and unfixing unit. Distances between lower face of thrust collar and upper end of recess and unfixing unit should be not less than length of recess. Shape and size of recess reciprocally identical to form and size of inner surface of circular bosses of fingered bushing. EFFECT: increased functional reliability of tool. 3 dwg
