SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and can be used for separate operation of wells. Packer with insert comprises rod, sealing unit, circulation holes made on both sides of packing unit, insert unit tightly installed inside rod by means of seals. Insert unit comprises a pipe connected from above to a coupling, from below resting on an annular projection made along the inner diameter of the rod, collet, pressed by the collar of the coupling, resting with the base against the end of the pipe and with the petals installed in the groove made on the rod, annular recess made along outer diameter of pipe with possibility of circulation holes connection to each other.

EFFECT: packer with an insert can be used both as a separate device, and as a unit as part of another device, communicating above- and below-packer spaces regardless of the location of the installed packer, which expands the scope of its application, and also allows to perform a number of technological operations without the need to replace the insert unit with the installed packer, which provides reduction of capital costs during round-trip operations.
