FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices operation in emergency situations (fires). Connecting device has embracing and embraced parts. Surfaces of parts facing each other are provided with matched circular hollows. Device also includes a ring made of material with memory-of-form effect positioned in circular hollow of embraced part. Said ring is manufactured for extension of its diametric sizes. The ring made of material with memory-of-form effect is split. Auxiliary stop split ring is positioned coaxially with the ring made of said material with initial radial pressure applied to it. External diameter of auxiliary stop split ring is less than or equal to diameter of external side surface of embraced part. EFFECT: extended range of application, simplified construction. 2 cl, 6 dwg
