SUBSTANCE: retaining split spring ring has through longitudinal slots T-shaped in cross section with flange arranged in ring body and leg projecting outwards. Common axis of all flanges is displaced relative to ring axis to side opposite to ring slot through value Δ found from equation D = (0,3...0,4)·(S-h-t),, where S is width of ring, t is width of slot flange and h is thickness of wall between outer surface of ring and surface of slot flange.
