FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: junction adapter has male and female parts whose facing surfaces are provided with annular depressions, ring made of material possessing shape memory effect and inserted in male-part annular depression, and flexible snap ring. Ring made of material possessing shape memory effect is split, flexible snap ring is mounted around ring made of material possessing shape memory effect exerting initial radial pressure on the latter. Outer diameter of ring is smaller than or equal to diameter of outer side surface of male part and its outer surface on rear end in direction of assembly is beveled. Annular depression of female part accommodates additional split ring made of material possessing shape memory effect for reducing its diametric dimensions, shape recovery temperature being higher and stiffness greater than those of ring made of material possessing shape memory effect. Inner diameter of additional split ring made of material possessing shape memory effect is greater than inner diameter of female-part side surface. Proposed adapter provides for jointing and separating two parts without access to joint. EFFECT: facilitated junction and separation of two parts; provision for multiple reuse of adapter. 2 cl, 6 dwg
