SUBSTANCE: the offered invention is pertaining to the field of gas-and-oil producing industry, gas-processing industry, petrochemical industry, in particular, to the installations of the low-temperature separation of the associated petroleum gases used by their gas production or gas-processing enterprises and the installations of the complex preparation of the gases for transportation. The method of the low-temperature separation of the associated petroleum (natural) gas ensures, that the coolant containing compounds being the part of the source gas before compression is mixed with the source gas. The compressed mixture or its part is cooled. At that the process of cooling is conducted at least twice. After one of the processes of cooling the liquid phase is taken off, which or a part of which is used as the coolant or in the composition of the coolant at least in one of the processes of cooling. At that the coolant is throttled, heated up, partially or completely evaporated and then it is mixed with the source gas. After one of the processes of cooling the mixture or its part is throttled and adiabatically expanded inside the rotating flow in the channel of the cyclone separator. The invention also offers the method, in which in the capacity of a coolant or in the composition of the coolant use a liquid product produced with the help of a rectifying column. The technical result of the invention utilization will allow an increased performance of the installation used at separation of associated gases.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased efficiency of the installation used at separation of associated gases.
