FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves bringing the terminal sigmoid colon segment out in the left iliac area through retroperitoneal tunnel. Additional trocar is set in the left iliac area. The retroperitoneal tunnel is directed towards the trocar opening. Lyre-shaped cut is done in the pelvic peritoneum. The peritoneum is caught and separated in the vicinity of the left superior cut angle to the trocar opening. The colon is pulled through the tunnel into the opening created with circular cut around the trocar. EFFECT: simplified operation; reduced number of postoperative complications.
