FIELD: shipboard electrical equipment; electric power systems of diesel-electric submarines. SUBSTANCE: electric power system includes storage battery, diesel-generator sets, propulsion motor, power consumers and electrochemical generator consisting of several power units. Electrochemical generator is connected to storage battery through matching converter which is divided into modules according to number of power units; modules are provided with separate current sensors of power units and common control unit. Control unit is provided with storage battery voltage sensor. EFFECT: enhanced combat maneuverability of submarine die to charging storage battery or retaining its capacity. 2 cl, 1 dwg
