FIELD: power systems for underwater craft. SUBSTANCE: power plant has electrochemical generator with hydrogen-oxygen fuel elements, oxygen feeding unit, oxygen storage unit, A1 storage tank, NaOH aqueous solution storage tank, batcher, reactor, filter, compressor, hydrogen receiver with hydrogen pressure controller at electrochemical generator input, chemical agents receiving tank, minimal and maximal critical level alarms, no-chemical-agent alarm, hydrogen pressure transducer, minimal hydrogen pressure setting unit, valves, valve opening and closing command generators, and also logic (comparison and coincidence) circuits. Power plant is made ready for operation in short time due to reducing generation cycle for hydrogen fed to electrochemical generator. EFFECT: reduced cost, enhanced fire safety due to eliminating long-time storage and unwanted leakage of gaseous hydrogen. 1 cl, 1 dwg
