FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of increasing strength of melt of polypropylene copolymer using initiator dispersions. Use of initiator dispersions in the form of particles instead of corresponding nondispersed initiators of dilutions or solution produces considerable increase in strength of melt of modified polymer and wide range of suitable initiators. Method uses initiators in the form of dispersion in polar medium in which at least 90 wt % by weight of initiator particles have particle size of less than 50 mcm and at least 99% by weight of initiator particles have particle size of less than 65 mcm. EFFECT: strength method. 22 cl, 10 tbl
