FIELD: construction engineering; testing aerodrome and road coverings for strength and bearing capacity. SUBSTANCE: plant has platform with pneumatic wheels and force assembly that mounts charging car fastened by means of biplanar hinge. Base beam provided with supporting wheels and measurement instrumentation connected to control and recording unit is joined to platform by means of telescopic rods. Pneumatic wheels are joined to platform by means of hydraulic struts connected to mentioned unit. Base beam is mounted along longitudinal axis of platform and joined to telescopic rods for splitting by means of retainers installed on top and bottom members of rods, respectively. Tensioning devices joined to brake members of beam supporting wheels are fastened on forks of supporting wheels of base beam. Distance L between supporting wheels of base beam is found from following equation: L ≥ (n/2-1)l+2(r+2,5S), where n is number of wheels of charging car; l is axle base of charging car wheels; r is reduced radius of charging car wheel trace; S is elastic characteristic of rigid covering structure.
