FIELD: mechanical engineering; aircraft ground servicing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transport facility includes tractor and carrier with grip at free end which is engageable with aircraft nose undercarriage leg. Carrier is provided with sensor showing any change in its sizes and feeding the signal to electronic control unit mounted on board which is engageable with two-position and three-position electromagnetic valves controlling the delivery of working fluid to hydraulic tank cavities and actuating hydraulic cylinders of retainers of aircraft rear undercarriage legs engageable with crank of hubs connected with aircraft wheel rims through overrunning clutch owning to which potential energy accumulated at moment of aircraft landing is converted during turn of crank into torque of main undercarriage legs.
EFFECT: increased useful thrust at initial moment of motion; enhanced trafficability; possibility of transportation of heavy aircraft by light-duty tractors.
