FIELD: mining industry for driving of mine workings in rocks of any hardness. SUBSTANCE: blasting chamber is located on boom of heading machine and consists of body with a central hole accommodating detonator and explosive charge with hollow and lined with sealing metal shell. Blasting chamber is provided with compensation chamber spring-loaded to body internal surface and located with a spaced relation to it with gap filled with inert gas under pressure. Chamber body, additional compensation chamber and explosive charge are toroidal in shape, and detonator is annular. Compensation chamber internal surface has semitoroidal air channels. Bodies of blasting and compensation chambers are made of two halves. EFFECT: extended assortment of explosive used for heading machines due to application of lengthened shaped charges. 2 dwg
