FIELD: electric heating systems for room heating. SUBSTANCE: heater body in cross-section is E-shaped with formation of a recess along the rear wall of the body. The heat-radiating element is positioned inside the body and provided with an electric heater holder formed along its longitudinal axis. The holder has a C-shaped cross-section for conjugation to the lateral generating lines of the electric heater. The plate thickness in cross-section reduces in the direction from the longitudinal axis to the periphery and makes up 0.1 to 0.5 at the edge of the plate of the maximum plate thickness. The grooves have a depth making up 0.2 to 0.3 of the groove width, and the distance between the axes of the adjacent grooves makes up 1.05 to 1.4 of the groove width.
