FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: three-dimensional image is won from two-dimensional image by way of change of apparent distance of image from observer on pixel-by-pixel basis. It is realized by setting of lattice of pixel optical elements uniaxially with pixels of image. In predominant format each optical element is mainly oblong and has focal distance that changes over its length. As result of it point along its length in which light enters optical element determines apparent visual distance of pixel integrated with it from observer. In case of usage of cathode- ray tube position of entry of light is controlled thanks to accurate vertical displacement of electron ray during its horizontal scanning.
