FIELD: electrical and instrumentation engineering; polarized electromagnets. SUBSTANCE: method for producing reversible-polarity electromagnetic force of polarized electromagnet that has magnetic circuit, movable armature placed in magnetic-circuit air gap, one or more control windings, and polarized magnet effected due to interaction between magnetic flux of control windings and that of polarized magnet is characterized in that reversible- polarity force is built up due to interaction between magnetic flux of control windings and variable component of leakage flux across movable armature of polarizing magnet whose magnitude on both sides of magnet is re-distributed differentially with change in proportion of gaps. EFFECT: improved response of polarized magnet to control signal. 3 dwg
