METHOD FOR PROVISION OF INTERACTION OF TELEPHONE COMMUNICATION PARTY WITH DATABASE OF INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: information science, in particular, telephone set information retrieval systems, in which programmed control with the aid of computers is used. SUBSTANCE: the input to the data base of the information retrieval system is effected due to connection from the general-use telephone set via the telephone line to the central computer station. The party, having registered its input to the above system, forms a data file about itself, that is transmitted for storage to the data base, this party has a possibility to extract the data file being up to its data file key according to the parties registered in the data base, and obtain the extracted information to the party via the telephone line in the form of a verbal message. Used as criteria presented by the given system are at least two blocks of questions differing from each other in theme; to the question of each block there are at least two answers, with a prime number assigned to each of them in the given block of questions. Formation of the set of key symbols is accomplished by making-up of a number, whose each subsequently composing figure or a combination of figures represents a number corresponding to the selected answer and formed by depression of the respective buttons of the push-button telephone dial of the general-use telephone set.
