FIELD: technology of coating of metal surfaces with polymer-concrete insulation, and insulating polymer-concrete composition for protection of pipelines from corrosion and prevention of heat losses from walls of these pipelines. SUBSTANCE: polymer-concrete composition includes binding agent based on cyclolinear siloxane block polymer to which hardener is added in performance of works of insulation of main and local pipelines laid by open method and in trenches-Basic weight of polymer-concrete insulation comprises mineral filler in amount of 88- 96 wt.p. Mineral filler is used in form of mixture of mineral powder, mortar sand and silicate soda flour. Mineral component of polymer- concrete composition is mixed and added with foaming agent based on moistened polyelectrolyte hydrogel in minor amount of 1-2 wt.p. Mixture is mixed, heated up to 50-80 C, and said binding agent based on siloxane block polymer in amount of 3-10 wt.p. is introduced with addition to it of hardener of SBO type (Specifications TU-38.103.85) in amount of meeting its structural physico-chemical requirements. Mixture is finally mixed, foamed and directed wither to process of molding of insulation articles, or directly applied to metal surfaces.
