FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has mixing chamber with channels to feed fuel and hydrogen into mixing chamber and channel to deliver fuel and hydrogen mixture into engine cylinder from mixing chamber. Mixing chamber has branch pipes connecting chamber with fuel feed and hydrogen feed channels and channel to deliver mixture into engine cylinder. End of branch pipe connecting chamber with fuel feed channel directed inwards the chamber is made convergent. End of branch pipe connecting chamber with hydrogen feed channel and directed inwards the chamber and end of branch pipe connecting chamber with fuel and hydrogen mixture delivery channel directed outwards the chamber are made divergent . With fuel passing through convergent branch pipe, its velocity rises with resulting increase in kinetic energy. Kinetic energy rise results in pressure drop in mixing chamber and, under action of pressure difference, hydrogen passes through accumulating chamber into mixing chamber where fuel is mixed and saturated with hydrogen. Obtained mixture is delivered is delivered into engine cylinder through mixture channel, fuel feed pump, fuel injection pump and nozzle. Fuel saturated with hydrogen is completely combusted. Device providing addition of up to 10% of hydrogen into fuel improves energy and ecological characteristics of internal combustion engine.
