FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device consists of housing with branch pipes to supply cooling liquid from engine and to bypass cooling liquid and to deliver it to cooler. Housing accommodates rod with valves and temperature transmitter with hard filler. Thermoelectric cooler-heater is connected to transmitter. Cooler-heater is connected to electric temperature transmitters through electronic control unit. With engine operating, device maintains optimum temperature depending on cooling liquid temperature owing to quick response of electric temperature transmitter, control unit of thermoelectric cooler- heater and its combined operation with hard filler temperature transmitter.
