FIELD: mining industry at dust suppression at mass blastings in rocks of any category of strength and degree of water content. SUBSTANCE: the holes are charged in the open cuts with explosives with simultaneous placement in each hole m the upper part of the charge of a sealed shell with water with a diameter of 0.2 to 0.4 of the charge diameter. Suggested also is the placement of the shell lower end in the middle section of the hole charge. At a last of the hole charge water in the shell is subjected to strong compression and changes in the gaseous state. In this state the steam-gas locks the detonation products in the hole and breaks the rock mass. Then, after escapement from the hole, the steam-gas gets expanded, its temperature drops and, as a result of it, water vapors condensate mainly on dust particles. Simultaneously with this process the mechanism of pressure drop inside the dust cloud is realized, which causes its compression by external atmospheric pressure, intensification of the process of dust coagulation and deposition over the point of mass blasting. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of dust suppression, and enhanced efficiency of explosive energy at mass blastings. 3 cl, 2dwg
