FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method involves administration the composition as powder that is fed with milk or colostrum to calves beginning from the 1-st day of life for 10 days, once per a day. Composition has the following components, mg: cobalt chloride, 5; copper sulfate, 20; zinc sulfate, 20; glucose, 500; abomasum mucosa dried extract, 250-300 and polfamix C, 1500-2000. Also, vitamin B12 and ferroglucin-75 are administrated by intramuscular route in the dose 15.0 mg/kg on 1, 3 and 5 days of life in combination with indicated composition. Method ensures to diminish the disease period on an average by 3-5 days, to decrease calves morbidity with noninfectious diseases later on, to enhance safety of young stock.
