FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, ground movement of vehicle is effected by means of power plant and wheels. Wings and stabilizer are arranged within the limits of hull-body. To prepare vehicle for flying, tail unit and wings are set in operating position at takeoff angle of attack. Air propulsor is used in flight. To provide maneuvering, takeoff and landing, horizontal and vertical control surfaces elevators and rudder are used. In flight, direction of thrust vector of air propulsor is controlled by changing it orientation and by changing span of wings and length of any wing of vehicle. Design peculiarity of vehicle is that retractable wings and stabilizer are made multicantilever and telescopic and are assembled in corresponding holder to provide extension of sections in transverse direction. holder is installed on hull-body and is hinge-coupled with drives to provide possibility of changing wing angle of attack. Air propulsor and tail unit are installed on variable-length cantilever hanger for changing angle between axis of rotation of air propulsor and longitudinal axis of vehicle.
