FIELD: railway transport; heating and air conditioning systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed air conditioning system has air feed fan 3, air duct-distributor 5, air dispersing panels in service compartment and all passenger compartments, thermoelectric self-contained generators 6, 7 of cold or heat. One of generators is connected with pressure and drain pipelines of liquid heat removal system, and pump with heat transfer agent circulation pipelines, is connected through heat transfer agent pump to heat exchangers found on suction and delivery air channels of central electric fan and is installed over vestibule to provide first stage centralized cooling or heating of air getting into car and compartments. Second generator is installed under car to provide second stage of cooling or heating of air in car, being connected through pump with compartment final stage units consisting of heat exchangers and fans mounted in service compartment and passenger compartments. Heat exchangers of final stage units are connected in parallel or series heat transfer agent pumping hydraulic system. Fans of final stage units provide circulation of cooled air in car compartments.
