SUBSTANCE: method of purifying sodium chloride solution by caustic soda method to remove calcium and magnesium ions comprises, using as flocculant, product of reaction of polyacrylamide, alkali and polyethers consisting of compounds at n= 10-30. Method makes it possible to increase quality of brine due to lowering content of calcium and magnesium salts and reduce consumption of polyacrylamide.
