FIELD: drilling equipment; applicable for transmission of bottom-hole parameters through electric communication line in course of drilling. SUBSTANCE: contact unit has body located in well and provided with male contact connected with downhole measurement apparatuses, plumb-weight and electric contact connected by means of cable with surface apparatuses. Unit has rubber encasement in form of hollow cylinder with spring-loaded rod which are accommodates inside plumb-weight. Electric contacts in connection are installed for motion inside rubber encasement to form hollow round contact insulated from ambient medium. Spring-loaded rod is connected with electric contact and installed for motion along plumb-weight. EFFECT: reliable insulation of electric contact pair in conducting drilling mud with help of simple and reliable design means. 2 dwg
